Dear residents of the Chancellor District,

I am the Republican candidate for the Chancellor District Seat on the Board of Supervisors. There is a long road ahead until the November election, and I will need your continued support every step of the way. I will work tirelessly to ensure our district’s needs and concerns are heard and addressed.

Having served on the Spotsylvania County Transportation Committee and Economic Development Authority, and currently serving as the Chairman of the Planning Commission; and being a small business owner, I am intimately familiar with the Spotsylvania County approved comprehensive plan. This experience has given me valuable insights that align with our county’s vision and goals.

As someone born and raised in Spotsylvania County and a proud member of the Chancellor District for the past 19 years, I have witnessed the challenges our community faces. I am deeply committed to collaborating with fellow residents and other local leaders in addressing these issues. Whether it involves enhancing our educational institutions, supporting local businesses, I pledge to make the Chancellor District a better place for all its residents. As a parent who has raised four children in the Chancellor District, I am deeply committed to the well-being of our community. I wholeheartedly support the necessary funding for law enforcement agencies, which is vital in maintaining public safety and fostering a sense of security among our residents.

I humbly seek your support. Together, we can make a remarkable difference in the Chancellor District, forging a brighter future for our community. I am honored to have the opportunity to represent you, and I am confident that our collective efforts will yield positive outcomes.

Let us move forward, united and determined, as we continue this campaign toward victory in November.

Sincerely,

Gerald Childress
